Looking further into Ethernet

The EtherCAT Roadshow reaches Italy: three days to explore the characteristics and advantages of EtherCAT, the Ethernet real-time industrial protocol. Upcoming dates: Padua February 8th, Bologna February 9th and Milan February 10th, 2011.

Market and technological innovations are forcing traditional fieldbuses to deal with pressing challenges: this is whycthe EtherCAT Technology Group (ETG) is offering an opportunity to learn about benefits and opportunities of Industrial Ethernet, in order to explore EtherCAT technology and its solutions. Users and equipment manufacturers must get to know this new generation of networks, deciding whether, when and how to adopt it. During the encounters, after the introduction to the technology, two dedicated sessions will be held: one targeting manufacturers, the other targeting users of automation technology.
These seminars are aimed at end users, equipment providers and system integrators interested in EtherCAT solutions and in technologies related to the world of Industrial Ethernet. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to meet some associates of the event’s sponsor ETG, and examine the proposals of the same, namely: 3S-Smart Software Solutions, Beckhoff, Deutschmann Automation, easiTEC, EBV Elektronik, Elmo Motion Control, Festo and IXXAT.
