Only Food - 1st Congress of Food Law - 29-30 October 2019, Florence

Promoted by Only Food Packaging Meeting and under the patronage of Italian Association of Food Labeling Experts, the first edition of the Food Law Congress will take place at the Hotel Brunelleschi in Florence.

Several regulatory aspects relating to the entire food chain will be included in the institution of Food Law: the subjects underlying safety, hygiene, communication and information to the consumer, the protection of names, brands, origins and provenance are considered privileged subjects. Surveillance with food controls and the system of sanctions together with jurisprudence are also topics contemplated in the Food Law.
The Congress, held over two days, offers a rich program of testimonies offered by legal experts, magistrates and sector specialists, who will present current and update studies. The interventions of a purely legal nature are aimed at those who in the normal working activities are required to deal with the typical legal contexts of the food supply chain. The Congress represents an important opportunity to acquire updated and qualified legal knowledge, aimed above all at enabling the application and correct and timely interpretation of the rules of Food Law. A Question Time session is scheduled on the conclusion of the second day.
