Elesa “clads” the Elektra coffee machines for Vergnano Coffee Shops 1882

The knobs that regulate the steam and hot water and the handles of the Elesa SpA simil briar root filter holders stand out against the chrome plated steel of the impressive coffee machines produced by Elektra: a winning combination that characterizes the Coffee Shop 1882 design, a project of excellence to help spread the authentic Italian espresso throughout the world, promoted by Caffè Vergnano.

A special design requires careful selection of even the smallest component, as Mario Malavasi, Sales Director of Elektra Srl claims, «Vergnano coffee machines have a unique style: not just a coffee maker they become true and proper furnishing complements that are part of the environment they are placed in».

The knobs and handles provided by Elesa (a Monza based company specializing in the production of plastic material components) fully meet these requirements.
«The customer needed two products whose design and coloring perfectly matched the aesthetics of the machine without compromising on quality», Enrico Del Torchio, Elesa Sales Manager North East Italy explained. «As with all the custom solutions we offer, we always start out from a standard catalogue product, intervening on possible variants, including color. This allows us to speedily offer the quality of a standard product tested in time in customized variants low costs».
The two components made for Elektra are press-moulded to a standard design in a special technical plastic that resembles briar root, but that is resistant to wear, humidity and high temperatures: an example of the versatility of Elesa products.
