Leading group in Europe in the production of special papers, products with high added value for packaging and graphics and self-adhesive labels, Fedrigoni SpA has completed the acquisition of the Ritrama group, an Italian multinational company of self-adhesive products with factories in Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Chile and China (the preliminary sale was signed in October 2019).
Thus a new global player in the Pressure Sensitive Labels sector comes into being, which can play as a leader in the market of self-adhesive labels with high technological and aesthetic content, in the face of an extremely widespread and diversified offer that, from today, combines the excellence of l Arconvert and Manter labels, made with special papers, with the high technology of Ritrama applied to self-adhesive plastic films.

“The numbers” for a new leadership
Ritrama recorded revenues of approximately 400 million euros up to December 31, 2018 which will add to the approximately 1.2 billion euros of revenues of the Fedrigoni Group in the same period; following the transaction, the turnover of the Fedrigoni Group will reach around 1.6 billion euros, positioning it among the world leaders in the special packaging paper sector and Pressure Sensitive Labels.
