Mineral water and soft drinks: a growing market
Between 2019 and 2021 the financial statements of corporations operating in the bottling and production of mineral water and soft drinks showed decidedly positive values.
This is what emerges from the analysis carried out by Competitive Data, which shows an aggregated turnover of the top 130 Italian companies in the mineral water and soft drinks sector up by +11.0% in 2021. The performance in the North East regions is significant, growing by +17.6%, followed, almost at the same level, by the regions of the South and Islands (+10.9%), and the North West (+10.7%). The regions in the Centre closed with +4.9%. At the top, companies with a turnover of over 35 million euros record +11.5%, followed by those with a turnover of 10-35 million euros at +9.7; companies with a turnover of less than 10 million euros stand at +5.1.
