Three new Mater-Bi® for food features

A plate that is compostable and heat resistant (up to 100 ° C) , food counter paper and a net for packaging of citrus fruit (and not only), all made of Mater-Bi®,  presented by Novamont at the Salone del Gusto and Terra Madre in Turin.

The line of cookware (which in addition to plates includes cutlery, beakers ...) uses a new grade of Mater-Bi, which can boast performance productivity during pressmolding entirely similar to those of PP, in addition to innovative mechanical, thermo-mechanical and aesthetic characteristics. Same quality for Eurocartex’s first food paper marketed by Eco Technologie.
Composed of pure cellulose, it is laminated on one side with a thin layer of Mater-Bi® which makes it water repellent and grease resistant. It can be customized and disposed as bio waste, like the Graziani Packaging fresh fruit and vegetable net, available in various sizes and shapes for street food.
