Eticpack RESPONSIBLE | CONTEMPORARY | EDUCATIONAL

What it is. Model of circular economy for the world of cosmetics, the Eticpack project features the production of bottles and jars with a post-consumer polymer, obtained from recycled polypropylene.

Materials. Ecoallene®, polymer made from post-consumer raw material, after granulation.

Product or target market. Skin-care cosmetics distributed in pharmacies.

Design and/or communication. The naming is evocative of the sustainability of the project, and enhances its ethical and educational value.

Unifarco-Eticpack_1.pngSustainability. Once used, the Eticpack containers are returned empty to the pharmacist, who will set up a collection point for the spent packaging. The jars will be sent to the granulation plant, until another post-consumer polymer is obtained with which to produce new packaging. The end customer and the distributor are therefore sensitized to realize a concrete model of circular economy.

The Eticpack packaging has been developed by Unifarco (a joint-stock company founded and formed by pharmacists, it offers cosmetic, nutraceutical, dermatological and make-up products sold exclusively in the pharmacy channel), Unired (a research laboratory born from the collaboration between Unifarco and the University of Padua), PM Pack (participated by Unifarco, it is involved in the production of plastic packaging), Ecoplasteam (producer of Ecoallene® polymer).
