When business is ethical

Reconciling profits and social responsibility: a strategic asset for growth. Robatech understands, “interpreting” sustainability through the production and supply of adhesive aplicators and obtaining Sedex Smeta 4 Pillars certification.

Robatech, the Swiss multinational and leader in technology and service for adhesive application, is a concern with a truly “green” soul, dedicated to sustainability in the widest sense of the term.
Unwavering dedication to minimizing consumption of raw materials, creating products with high energy efficiency, attention to the environment and safety are central to the concern’s philosophy. The use of ecological materials and careful management of resources are thus the cornerstones of Robatech’s perfect integration with industry and the environment.
Decency, honesty and reliability toward its employees, collaborators, customers and commercial partners are the guiding principles of Robatech’s business ethic.

Sedex 4 Pillars Certification The path chosen by Robatech, reconciling profit and social responsibilty, has now reached an important milestone.
Indeed, the company has obtained Sedex Smeta 4 Pillars certification (SMETA = Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit), which guarantees that all the concern’s products and services have been conceived and implemented in an ethical and ecologically responsible manner.
Sedex is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving commercial and ethical practices in global supply chains, offering a simple and effective process for managing ethical and responsible supply chain practices.
The heart of the system is a secure online database in which registered members can archive, share and display information based on four key issues (or pillars): work standards, health and safety, environment and ethical trade.
In such a way, the customer can view and manage ethical information on all suppliers from a single secure location, while suppliers can upload their own ethical information and choose to share them with more customers through Sedex.

The multinational Robatech obtained certification after undergoing external review by SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance, Zurich), and now, with code S000000058316, “resides” in the Sedex database, alongside names of the caliber of Unilever, Mars Group, Nestlé, Amcor, PepsiCo, Danone, Hershey’s... It’s important to note that access to this database is reserved exclusively for registered members.
