The global dairy industry continues its solidarity efforts

The dairy industry is continuing its efforts to support the hardest hit and most vulnerable communities

In the United States, the company Chobani has announced that it will begin sending a “truck-a-day” of products to US food banks after donating one million cups of yogurt in the past few weeks. The company will deliver nutritious food to hospitals and communities in New York, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit.

After launching a number of solidarity initiatives at the beginning of the pandemic, the Vietnamese dairy company Vinamilk is offering 1.7 million glasses of milk (with a value of $531,000) to 19,000 disadvantaged children living in care centres and orphanages in Hanoi, Nghe An and Ho Chi Minh City.
