The new "home of packaging"

With the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new headquarters in Albaredo d'Adige (VR), Berlin Packaging presented the new "Itinera" collection dedicated to the wine sector, with the aim of presiding over the strategic area of North East Italy.

Berlin Packaging continues its development in Italy with the inauguration of the headquarters in Albaredo d'Adige in the province of Verona, which took place on September 23 with the participation of customers, partners, representatives of local institutions and the press. The opening of the new headquarters is the crowning achievement of a path of strong growth for the company, which has made 16 acquisitions within the EMEA area since 2016 to date, thus consolidating its position as the largest Hybrid Packaging Supplier® in the world.

This was reiterated by Paolo Recrosio, CEO, Berlin Packaging EMEA, at the inauguration of the new headquarters:

«In parallel to the numerous acquisitions of local and European companies made, as Berlin Packaging we have decided to invest also in the Italian territory, and we are pleased to inaugurate today our headquarters in Albaredo d'Adige, which will allow us a constant presidium of an area that is strategic for us as the North East of Italy, strongly linked to markets that are priorities for us such as spirits and wine

«Today, after difficult years of closures and which have certainly seen the local community affected in part, seeing the opening of a prestigious location like this and savoring the willingness to involve even the institutions in this path represents for us a strong signal of social and economic recovery, as well as an opportunity to create synergies and new job opportunities».

Excellence in a showroom

Expanding a historic Bruni Glass warehouse, the new headquarters now occupies an area of over 20,000 square meters, and consists of a large office area on the second floor and a warehouse of over 7000 square meters with which the company plans to increase the services to be offered to its customers.

There is also a showroom area, where all products marketed by Berlin Packaging are displayed, from glass to plastic, including premium collections and customized products.

The new Berlin Packaging store

Flagship of the new location is the first Berlin Packaging Store: a space dedicated to the retail sale of more than 150 company items with an innovative design that characterizes the Berlin Packaging I Bruni Glass offer, including the special collections.

This is a pilot project, conceived to strengthen the proximity business and the roots in the territory, as Alessandro Tonoli, CEO, Berlin Packaging Italy & Med, underlines:

«Opening our first flagship store means allowing even smaller realities to benefit from the quality packaging represented by our products, including the Berlin Packaging I Bruni Glass collections. We are convinced that this operation can expand our business and bring us closer to our customers, and we are already thinking of replicating it in other territories».

… and the journey begins with Itinera

In conjunction with the inauguration of the headquarters in Albaredo D’Adige (VR), the new “Itinera”collection Berlin Packaging | Bruni Glass was presented.  Realized also thanks to the decades of experience of the Innovation Center Berlin Packaging | Bruni Glass, Itinera represents a path of discovery in the fascinating world of wine, which combines the expertise of Berlin Packaging in the glass sector with the desire to give new shape and substance to the design of the most iconic bottles of the sector.

Paolo Recrosio, CEO Berlin Packaging EMEA, remarked:

«We wanted to combine the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Venetian headquarters with the launch of a collection designed specifically for the wine sector, which is strategic for us and represents one of the key sectors in this geographical area».

«Through Itinera we want to stand out in front of wine producers for the value that our reality can offer, - said Fabrizio Gulì, Category Director of Berlin Packaging EMEA. - Just as the name of the new collection reflects the idea of a journey to discover an Italian excellence that is important for our economy, so the bottles that make up the collection bear names that evoke the ancient Roman roads that played an important role in the evolution of wine. The intent is to express the concept of millenary tradition eternal in time».

The new bottles are characterized by the union of shapes and details of a timeless tradition, with innovative and forward leading  proposals, suited to satisfy all the needs of contemporary wine producers and brands. Likewise, the names of the bottles comprising the range recall the ancient Roman roads, fundamental traffic routes in the evolution of society and of wine, in particular.

The collection is divided between the Selection line, characterized by a design with very distinctive details which give exclusivity to the product, and the Experience line, which combines the functionality of traditional models with the modern trends of the wine market.
