Tenenga’s SixTrue system is the result of a combination of elements that allows the random (and impossible to imitate) reproduction of graphic signs to be associated with the specific goods to be protected. As Ubaldo Montanari of Tenenga explains:
«Each product is uniquely identified, is immediately recognizable and can be tracked at any time. The identifiable sign - which can be monitored - is analogical, unique and non reproducible, since it is created by randomly combining microdroplets of inks and special materials, to be printed on labels or directly on the single product»
How the technology works and who implements it
There are four phases that characterize the system, as well as four subjects involved, as explained by Montanari «starting from the printer, who prints the codes on the packaging and sends the image of the signs to the SixTrue database; at this point the manufacturer combines the SixTrue sign with the goods and certifies the originality, validating it in the database. It is then the consumer who requests the authenticity check via smartphone, and Sixtrue issues the outcome of the check».
Numerous the advantages offered by the adoption of this solution. First of all for the producer, who protects the value of his brand by attesting the originality of the products through Sixtrue, thus counteracting any attempts at counterfeiting, the gray market and theft.

Another non negligible element is the reduced costs of the system, limited to the printing of signs and equivalent to a two-color printing, as well as to the storage of data in the central Sixtrue database (Microsoft cloud). Simple and non-invasive, it also conveniently integrates into the company’s normal production cycle

THE SIXTRUE SIGN is small in size (23x23 mm o 7x23 mm) so it is not invasive and can be printed directly on the packaging or it can be applied with an irremovable label. For each single product a SixTrue is created, consisting in a QR two-dimensional barcode for identifying and archiving in the database the unique sign, and a unique, non-reproducible matrix that is created by randomly combining microdroplets of ink and special materials. The verification of originality is done via smartphone, thanks to an app available for Android, Ios and Windows: just frame the sign to activate the sending of the image. You receive the response in real time with the result of the check. |
