Having established itself as a builder of thermoformers for blisters and containers destined for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors, Famar then integrated its offer with cartoning machines for packaging pharmaceuticals in paperboard boxes.
The success of this formula encouraged Famar to further develop its competencies. Renamed Famar Packaging, the historic Bologna concern then developed a complete portfolio of end of line film wrapping, casepacking and palletizing systems. Finally, the last step: in order to satisfy the growing demand for complete lines, Famar Packaging signed strategic partnership deals with hi-tech concerns active in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors, and today it sells machinery for packaging fluids, creams and powders, alongside its intermittent and continuous casepackers and end of line solutions.
