Electronic labeling in South America
Store Electronic Systems (SES), a global leader in electronic labeling systems, has been selected by Walmart Argentina as a supplier of its 28 malls.
The choice was determined by the ability of SES to provide complete and scalable solutions, but also an effective local support to staff operating at the salespoints.
It is only the last important order recently acquired by SES in Latin America, an area where the supplier of dynamic pricing systems has won a leadership position and is growing rapidly. Telcel, the largest mobile phone company in Mexico, has selected the G-Tag graphic labels for 44 of its mobile phone stores and in 2014 intends to extend the roll-out to 300 salespoints. In addition to price automation, in this case the ESL labels will be adopted with the aim of improving customer service as they enable the viewing of a large amount of specific information.
The Mexican group Comercial Control has also installed SES solutions in 75 Delsol and Woolworths brand shopping centers. This involves 600,000 S-tag labels that make a wealth of information available at the salespoint at all times. In this way - the South American retailer underlines - management data is made directly available to the department in question, enabling correct decisions to be taken “on the spot”, thus significantly improving staff efficiency.
Store Electronic Systems, which opened a direct branch in Mexico in 2012, designs, sells and installs all its electronic labeling system components (software and communication platforms, displays, media), thus providing turnkey solutions.
