Highly dynamic synchronous servo motors

Sew-Eurodrive enriches the CMP highly dynamic synchronous servomotor series with the new CMP112, available in five capacities (S, M, L, H and E) and characterized by high peak torque (equivalent to 320 Nm) and featuring an overload capacity 3.3 times the normal torque.

The main feature of the CMP series is its dynamic performance, which allows precise positioning even in the presence of high loads and high accelerations. The feedback system with 2-pole resolver is standard on all sizes;
Another strength is its characteristic compactness that makes it easy to use in tight spaces or inside complex machinery. The installation is further simplified by power connectors and standard feedback adjustable within a range between 0° and 270°.
The CMP motors can be supplied in a self-braking mode, with the BY series high-performance electromagnetic brake equipped with manual release (optional), and can come with a standard KTY type thermal protection, with temperature measured continuously, and forced ventilation on demand.
Thanks to its modular design, the CMP servomotors can be installed on all Sew-Eurodrive gearboxes, with direct mounting or with an adapter; they are also available with B5 flange in the stand-alone version.
CSA and UL certified, they are used in many different industrial areas among which food and pharmaceutical packaging machines, handling and transportation systems as well as glass-, plastic-, paper and wood processing machines.
