Italian containers: from Brianza to northern Europe

With 40 years of experience in the production of containers, cases and boxes in PET, PP, bioplastics and PVC and designed both for the cosmetics and food industry, Idealplast (Meda, MB) also proposed its line of ultrasound welded bioplastic containers at the last Emballage Paris, and the line of cylindrical packaging this too in PET with metal base and with a facilitated easy opening.

Interviewed at the show about the evolution of the business and markets for the packaging solutions proposed by Idealplast (all certified for food use), company owner Ivano Sironi commented: «We are enjoying a particularly positive period. Compared to 2013, we have in fact registered an increase in turnover of 30% and, over the next few months, we expect further growth. This is to be put down to a combination of factors, first of all our trading skill and intuition, supported by a natural propensity to invest in new technologies, which support us in growth strategies.

The Idealplast sales lines are intended for cosmetics-perfumery sector, but also for boulangerie, patisserie and chocolates, all sectors very localized areas in the territory and that, by their nature, have a strong national characterization.
At present we operate with success aboveall in the markets of Northern Europe - most of all in France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia, but we are also getting good results in Russia, Estonia and Lithuania. I would point out that, in any case, our presence is purely commercial, and we do not intend investing in production locally. Our good performance depends on one thing only: the quality of Italian made products. Where do I see our future? Without a doubt in the North ».
