Gampack Group on stage at Pack Expo

Mechatronics and robotics in secondary packaging solutions offered “live” at Pack Expo International 2022 by Gampack Group.

Gampack Group strengthened its international presence with its participation in Pack Expo International, where exhibitors and visitors got a hands-on feel for the technological offerings the Piacenza-based company showed in Chicago last October 23-26.

With more than 1,800 exhibitors, Pack Expo International was in fact an opportunity to meet and network with professionals from all over the world, and allowed the company to promote its solutions, designed and built to modernize end-of-line packaging processes in the food and non-food sectors. Taking center stage, then, was an innovative packaging solution specifically for pillow bags in American boxes, closed with hot glue.

An evolved case packer

Robust, reliable and above all flexible, the machine combines the most modern and safe mechanical technology with the robotics of new handling tools. With vision systems to recognize incoming products and gripping heads made specifically for the project, the case packer represents the perfect combination of performance and versatility.

Robotic technologies are increasingly integrated into the systems designed and built by Gampack Group, resulting in the development of state-of-the-art, highly automated solutions. The application of robotics, both in the packaging and palletizing stages, allows a high rate of flexibility, high speeds and a higher degree of precision, factors that translate into higher productivity.

Gampack Group in brief

Born from the strategic union of Gampack and Futurapack, historic Piacenza-based companies, Gampack Group continues to distinguish itself in the international secondary packaging equipment market with complete and highly customized end-of-line solutions.

Thanks to the wide range of solutions in its portfolio, its continuous desire for research and its long experience, the Group today represents an ideal technological partner, capable of adapting to a constantly changing market and responding to the diversified needs of its customers. In this renewal phase, the development of packaging systems that espouse the paradigm of environmental sustainability also continues.

Recent proposals include, for example, the patented cardboard Mini-tray, an alternative to shrink-film packaging that saves up to 50% in material.
