Sensing Future Days
Part of the #StayConnect project by IMA Digital, with The Sensing Future Days IMA Group wanted to enhance its presence during the time of social distancing, bringing innovation and production processes to the stage in the name of digitalization and sustainability.
Successful virtual events, the Sensing Future Days have generated very promising numbers: six intensive days live of advanced technology with honored guests and real masters in the field, 94 live sessions, 45 hours of live streaming with more than 60 machines on show, visitors from 98 different countries, 43,787 views and almost 5,000 people connected. But there is not just the numbers that speak.
The first session (May 11-13) was mainly focused on Pharma, Food & Dairy, Confectionery, Automation and Automotive sectors, as well as digital services like virtual training and virtual commissioning.
The second session (June 10-12) put particular emphasis on Tea & Coffee, Tissue & Non-Woven, Personal & Home care sectors, besides Pharma, Food & Dairy and digitalization.
All-round visibility thanks to virtual. The Sensing Future Days hosted prominent personalities from both the academic world and the packaging industry offering insights into new trending topics, such as the future of manufacturing with the AI, Big Data management in the smart factory as well as sustainable packaging materials.
Innovative processing and packaging machines, continuous manufacturing, a comprehensive approach on tea, herbs and coffee machines, packaging materials handling, sustainability and digital services were, furthermore, just some of the many topics covered by the IMA specialists during the live streaming.
Dedicated virtual rooms and specific lounges to explore the machines on show were also available for all the duration of the event, where it was possible to share experiences or get in touch directly with the specialists concerned, and, in case, to access a private hub for a one-to-one meeting.
Great interaction from the audience characterized the live moments. Moreover, many visitors could get the opportunity to engage also with specific corporate areas such as IMA Digital to discover IMA’s digital products and services as well as IMA Open Lab, the packaging laboratory to know more about the most innovative and sustainable materials. Conversely, the Human Resources Department was in charge of illustrating the many aspects of the IMA working life.
