In the field of programmable controllers Panasonic is launching the European FP7 platform and software development FPWIN Pro 7.

FP7 controllers are modular and compact, high performance and high functionality, with reaction times in the order of nanoseconds. The CPU integrated Ethernet interface RJ45, USB (2.0), a RS232C serial to which  two additional serial ports via plug-in modules for high-speed communication (230.4Kbps), and a slot for memory card can be added.
Its special modules feature analog modules with high precision (16 bit resolution), high speed (25μs/canale conversion time) and accuracy of ± 0.05% FS (inputs) and ± 0.1% FS (outputs)  All input channels can be electrically isolated from each other to reduce interference. The new software platform FPWIN Pro 7, the same on all FP Series PLCs and conforming to open standards IEC 61131-3, allows migration and reuse of applications built with the previous release.  
Panasonic announces important changes in many other areas including Web Automation, with the latest release of the FPWeb Server in conjunction with FPWeb Expansion; the Green Automation, with the new KW9M “advanced” energy counter; Motion Control with MINASAB driver on EtherCAT Bus, that is one of the most compact on the market.
