AX Diamond: new hotmelt application heads

Robatech, leader in the design and production of “green” solutions in adhesive application, extends its range of dispensing heads with the new AX Diamond.

Technology, efficiency, reliability: once again Robatech leads the way and launches the new AX Diamond heads, that has been previewed at interpack 2014 (Dűsseldorf, stand 11-F68). Here too Robatech wises to reinforce its market leadership, aboveall in strategic applications, as well as innovate and develop new technologies to stay that one step ahead, attentive to both environmental aspects as well as customer service.

AX Diamond in detail. The new application heads are electropneumatic single effect, sturdy, reliable and sustainable. The new model is perfectly suited to closing cardboard packaging and is ideal in contactless low to medium viscosity hotmelt thermoplastics dot or strip application.
The sturdy and simple structure make the AX Diamond rugged and ideal for harsh work environments, the integrated heater filter reducing the blocking of the nozzles to a minimum. The “CoolTouch” insulation, typical of the Diamonds series, significantly raises personal protection, limiting heat emissions, hence protecting the product to which the adhesive is to be applied. The special insulation of the pistol in fact prevents the cooling of the hotmelt when this comes into contact with draughts or cold air. The thermal insulation also guarantees sustainable production, that respects resources,  enabling a reduction in energy and adhesive consumption.

This Robatech product is also highly modular, enabling conformation to the special demands of the application. The same filter and the same assortment of nozzles can be used throughout the Diamond range. Furthermore, the AX 296 Diamond parts and the AX Diamond pneumatic valves are compatible with the existing AX 100 series, which notably simplifies integration with existing systems.
The AX Diamond applicator, the latest in the Diamond series, rounds off Robatech’s exceptional offer of reliable, safe spray pistols: they raise the level of efficiency of production processes and support the company in pursuing objectives of sustainability.
