Labelling of small-diameter products

ALline Horizontal is one of the special labeling systems developed by ALTECH for the application of self-adhesive labels to unstable cylindrical products, typically small-diameter products which can only be transported while lying on their sides.

ALline Horizontal systems allow a range of different possible configurations and can be used for a wide variety of cylindrical products without a sufficiently stable base to allow them to be labelled standing up (pharmaceutical or cosmetic syringes, laboratory test tubes or samples, lipsticks, tubes for silicone…).

ALTECH has perfected the design of the ALline Horizontal model over the years, and it now uses a particularly compact base that contains all devices required for the labelling, with particular attention devoted to operator ergonomics.

The conveyor is equipped with idle rollers able to stably accommodate the products, with continuous or intermittent motion (in the latter case, in register application is also 
possible). The wrap-around labelling system has been designed by ALTECH’s engineers specifically to process products down to very small sizes, and guarantees very precise application and high levels of reliability.

In continuous-motion mode, the system is able to exceed 200 pieces/min and is compatible with a wide array of accessories for monitoring, printing/coding of labels, and automatic rejection, where required.

Everything is managed via a PLC with a colour touchscreen panel which provides fast access to the most commonly used functions via an intuitive graphical interface, as well as the possibility to store 100 different labelling formats. The system can be configured for compatibility with the Industry 4.0 standard, which allows the machine parameters to be monitored and managed remotely as well.
