Cama Group for the cosmetic industry: new dedicated PHHC Business Unit

With a leading position in the packaging industry, Cama is now reinforcing its commitment to new sectors - in particular home care, health care (including para pharmaceutical) and personal care - where secondary shelf ready packaging is becoming an essential tool in the product production and distribution chain.
Cama announces the birth of the new PHHC Business Unit, where a new team of people with specific know-how and focused on these sectors operates.

Cama Group tries to supply this industry with the smallest possible footprint in terms of machinery because we know that the cosmetic factories are small and the machines need to fit in every path space.
Also the cosmetic packaging design is becoming more and more important because what matter is the packaging impact on shelves in the supermaket or into the pharmacy, that is changing a lot.

The packaging design department of Cama Group is therefore developing even more dedicated packaging that respects the high quality standards. Furthermore, brand owners are asking packaging producers to convert the used materials from plastic to carton and  the company  R&D team is developing suitable carton designs for cosmetic packaging.

Cama is supplying robotic casepackers with integrated pallettising modules characterised by small footprint and medium speed. These aspects are real challenges into the cosmetic market.

Moreover, Cama Group has developed a range of wraparound machinery called FW746 that can boast of the smallest footprint available in the market. It is able to pack very small packages in a very limited space.

Cama supplies 90% of its solutions in configuration of customised machines and lines as in the cosmetic industry nothing is standardized.
