Greenlight with GREENLINE
For more than 30 years, Robatech’s logo has been associated with green practice; it’s no coincidence, then, that the latest generation of GREENLINE Concept hotmelt melters is even greener; in fact, by combining the new melters with 6 mm diameter hoses and completely insulated DIAMOND guns, energy consumption can be cut by up to 17%.
The system carries significant economic and environmental benefits, documented by careful analysis of each component, carried out in-house by Robatech daily.
Research and results. After identifying the areas of greatest heat dispersion, these were carefully isolated, starting with the applicator head, then hoses and hotmelter, of which Robatech has carefully studied every detail, analyzing energy consumption and dispersion in order to identify the points on which to intervene in order to optimize these variables.
The first step was designing the completely insulated DIAMOND guns, which enable reducing consumption by up to 60% compared to previous models.
Following the same line of reasoning, the concern then created a series of hoses with reduced diameter that are particularly efficient, before moving on to the applicators themselves. With the objective of integrating them in an ever increasingly green vision of the gluing process, the concern designed and implemented a special insulation for the tank, the distributor and the entire cover.
This optimization process has enabled saving a whopping 17% in energy consumption compared to conventional systems, and, thanks to these results, Robatech now stands out and ahead of the fray in the field of sustainable adhesive application. And with good reason, the concern can therefore also emphasize the added-benefit of improved insulation - greater protection for the operators on the floor - thanks to installations conceived in such a way as to reduce to a minimum the risk of burns or physical harm.
With the GREENLINE concept, Robatech thus reaffirms its position: the road toward an ever increasingly ecological production of gluing equipment, sensitive to the demands of the environment and workers, has now been opened, and this concern is moving at full speed thanks to
optimization and the development of new technologies.
