OMAS and tailored innovation

More than forty years of experience and a solid presence on the Italian and international market through a wide network of distributors: OMAS Tecnosistemi designs and builds machines for filling and sealing of liquids, creams, powders in rigid containers (also unstable containers such as bottles, jars, cans) for the cosmetics-pharmaceutical-, chemical and food industries.

The attention to the qualitative aspects of the production and management of the business is one of the traditional strengths of the company; proof of this the quality management certificate ISO 9001:2008 for the design and manufacture of filling and capping machines awarded by TÜV Italia, as well as the ISO 14001:2004 environmental management certificate.
OMAS is also experiencing an encouraging time of structural growth, shown by the extension of its Cerro Maggiore site, which will lead to a total floor area of 10,000 square meters.

OMAS Tecnosistemi will be participant at Cosmopack (Hall 20, stand A21-B22) and will be bringing innovatory, state-of-the-art equipment and systems to the fair.

New MTR is an automatic rotary filling closing machine for metal-, polythene and laminated tubes, with speeds up to 75 bpm, available in different versions with the possibility of automatic tube insertion and orientation. The machine features a solid structure with mechanical movements, well designed for easy cleaning and maintenance, with the possibility of using electronic servo adjustments, plus a wide range of options available on request.

Turbomix is a complete and independent vacuum mixing and emulsifying unit with integrated heating system, equipped with mixing and scraping counter blade and homogenizing turbine located on the bottom of the container. Ideal for complete and reproducible processing of dense and creamy product preparations, evenly blended with subsequent homogenization and dispersion of fats and active ingredients in the batch mass under production. Creams, cleansers, balms and lotions, gels, toothpastes, ointments, pastes, and ointments are the resulting products.

The mascara monoblock GM-1 (recently supplied to a major cosmetics company) presents a host of new features: fully automatic, speed up to 60bpm, tube orientator, robot for inserting brush cap with formula menu format change, removable heated dispenser for a complete and thorough cleaning and sanitizing.
For a rapid format change, it is designed with dosage nozzle and drop adjustment, servo motor closure, scraper and cap insert via pick&place, with automatic scraper format change. Other features include the camshaft driven mechanical movements and safety glass panelling.
