Web 4.0: the future of in-house printing is now

With Hapa’s launch of the Web 4.0 printing system for web-fed materials, a digital Industry 4.0 factory is available at home.

The system, presented at Achema, is future-proof, uptime-friendly, and connect seamlessly with digital workflow.
Driven by know-how and experience, the Web 4.0 is scalable, flexible, and ergonomic. It’s easy to setup, operate, and maintain. The system integrates onto existing or new packaging lines or operates roll-to-roll.

Scalable, the platform’s digital “redcube plus” printing module future-proofs production lines: its capability can be increased from single to six spot colors or WCMYK, plus lacquer. An LED curing unit polymerizes the inks immediately, and a flush function ensures that the print module can be placed into standby for extended periods. Printhead maintenance is automatic so that no production time is lost to manual cleaning.
