Ilpra enters Bangladesh market

Veripack, a subsidiary of the market-leading packaging technologies player Ilpra Group, has signed a thermoforming machine supply agreement with Bombay Sweets & Co. Ltd., the largest snack producer in Bangladesh.

The 3-year mutually-exclusive agreement covers sales throughout the fast-growing Bangladesh market.

At the same time, Veripack has signed an initial €406,000 contract for the supply of a thermoforming machine.

Bombay Sweets was founded in Nawabpur in 1948 and has production facilities in Dhaka and Narayangonj. It also has its own packaging company (Tricepack Ltd) and agricultural business (Bombay Agro Ltd) to preserve the quality of its products and guarantee high-quality agri-food raw materials.
