Uzbekistan sets zero rates of customs duty and excise taxes on food and medical products

The Uzbek government has introduced measures to cushion the economic impact of the global health crisis.
The Presidential Decree of 3 April 2020 sets zero rates of customs duty and excise taxes on essential goods in order to encourage the import, manufacture and sale of a wide range of food and sanitary and medical products. The exemption will apply until the end of 2020.
