European leadership strengthened with the acquisition of British company Colpac

This launch marks another step in Sabert’s growth and consolidation in sustainable food packaging, supported by strategic investments and an increasingly strong production presence across Europe—further boosted by the recent acquisition of Colpac Limited, a UK-based company renowned for its innovative and sustainable cartonboard solutions for the food-to-go sector.
The new Deli2Go stands out for its enhanced performance: the patented base uses the same secure snap-fit closure technology as the lid featured in the Tray2Go line—winner of the prestigious National Gold Award in the Paper & Packaging Innovation category at the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice. It ensures a reliable seal with the new rPET lid, offering greater transparency for optimal product visibility and presentation.

Completed in summer 2025, the integration of Colpac has reinforced Sabert’s presence in key European markets - UK, Ireland, and continental Europe - expanding its global cartonboard offering and enhancing its ability to meet local customer needs. This strategic move enables Sabert to serve dynamic markets like Italy even more effectively, with packaging solutions for foodservice and retail that are practical, sustainable, and high-quality.
The Deli2Go line is fully recyclable and entirely Made in Europe: the tray is produced at Sabert’s facility in Kimbolton (UK), while the lids are manufactured in Nivelles (Belgium).
Deli2Go: for chilled counters and institutional catering
Freezer-safe, Deli2Go is the ideal solution for preparing and displaying cold meals and sides, enhancing freshness and visual appeal. In quick service and snacking, it’s perfect for take-away dishes, salads, pasta, and more; in institutional catering, it suits the preparation and transport of single-portion meals. For corporate and institutional foodservice, Deli2Go offers a practical, high-quality solution for serving cold, ready-to-eat meals; in the grab & go channel, it’s ideal for food corners, supermarkets, and service stations.
Essential design, maximum functionality
Stackable and snap-fit, the trays are grease-resistant and made from recyclable FSC™- certified kraft paper. Available in three sizes (125 ml, 250 ml, and 375 ml), they are fully customizable, offering clients broad usage and tailored branding options. The patented base ensures a secure closure with the transparent rPET lid, delivering excellent product visibility - ideal for food-to-go applications.
