The countdown to Interpack 2026 has begun. From 7 to 13 May, the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition centre will once again become the nerve centre of the international packaging industry and the wider process industry supply chain.

The 2023 edition, the first after the long pause imposed by the pandemic, marked a triumphant return: 143,000 visitors from 156 countries and 2,800 exhibitors from across the globe brought new energy to a show that restored to the sector a long-awaited place for meeting and exchange.

Positive signs are emerging for the upcoming edition as well. Interpack 2026 already counts 2,800 confirmed exhibitors and more than 1,000 manufacturers of packaging solutions, packaging materials and accessories.

The choice of Düsseldorf as the host city continues to be a major asset. Messe Düsseldorf is one of the world’s most important exhibition hubs, offering 306,000 square metres of exhibition space and an international network of representatives active in 141 countries.

The city also provides excellent infrastructure, one of Germany’s busiest airports and a wide range of accommodation options, all elements that contribute to making Interpack an accessible event with a truly global reach.

A special moment for Italian packaging
The 2026 edition promises to be particularly significant for the entire Italian packaging community. UCIMA and IPACK-IMA will host Italian Night, an exclusive networking event taking place on Sunday 10 May within the exhibition grounds.

It will be a privileged occasion for meeting, representation and promotion of the Italian system, bringing together companies, institutions, international buyers and strategic partners in a prestigious and highly symbolic setting.

Italy’s presence at Interpack (historically among the strongest and most recognized) will thus gain an additional moment of cohesion and visibility, further reinforcing the country’s role as one of the leading global players in packaging technology.
