Components for parallel axis robots

From WITTENSTEIN, specific solutions that optimize the speed, productivity and safety of Delta robots: reliable and sturdy, they prevent costly machine stops, have high quality standards to guarantee long life, extending maintenance intervals.

witt.pngApplications that use parallel axis (Delta) robots - for example the sorting systems used in the food industry - require a very high number of cycles and short movements with high dynamics and long operating times. The axes involved - which can be two, three or four - are subjected to multiple stresses and loads and are often “unique pieces”.
To meet these needs, WITTENSTEIN offers a wide range of solutions, ranging from gearboxes to actuators.

High performance gearboxes and actuators. Designed specifically for Delta applications, the range of DP+ gearboxes is highly appreciated.
Available with reduction ratios from 16 to 55 and torques from 30 Nm to 950 Nm, it can also be requested for EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group) certified applications in direct contact with foodstuffs.
As far as servoactuators are concerned, the TPM+ high-performance series, which stands out for its compactness, precision and efficiency, plays a key role. In fact, with the same productivity, energy consumption is reduced by up to 50% thanks to the high torsional stiffness, which allows the use of smaller motors with lower moments of inertia.
The two series are available in both standard and High Torque® versions, particularly suitable when high torques and maximum torsional stiffness are required.

Micromotors. In primary and secondary packaging, in particular in the pharmaceutical industry and in the medical sector, cyber® dynamic line micromotors, which reach 345 watts, are also highly appreciated.
This is a system that is completed with the compact and intelligent simco® drives, both in the variant for electric cabinet (IP20) and in the decentralized version, with IP65 grade protection.
Like many other WITTENSTEIN solutions, the cyber® dynamic line range is also available in the hygienic design version, which is characterized by extreme resistance to corrosion and aggressive substances, high dynamics and power density, easy assembly, low costs of maintenance, absolute safety and ease of cleaning.

When experience counts
All the proposed products have high performances, which are the result of a combination of many years of engineering experience, extensive skills in the field of simulation and design tools, such as cymex® 5, the calculation software able to dimension even the most complex kinematic chains in a safe and simple way. Thus WITTENSTEIN guarantees the safety of an optimal sizing, both from a technical and an economic point of view, also for high dynamic multi-axis motion profiles.
