The experts like eco

Super compact, super practical and above all highly eco-friendly: thanks to the characteristics of the bottle created for the “project ecogreen” product line, San Benedetto’s 1L “Easy” Mineral Water won the “Food Award- chosen by the experts” in the beverage category and an additional award for best eco-sustainable product.

This was decreed by a panel of operators, an expression of the world of retail, communications and marketing, who had to pick their way between the 18 categories of the competition set up by the magazine Food, in its first edition with 86 companies and 171 products competing.

The San Benedetto “ecogreen project” is the first in Italy to receive the Italian Ministry of the Environment environmental footprint evaluation logo: 1L “Easy” is in fact the firstCO2 eq compensated mineral water format. (the emissions are “neutralized” 100%  via the purchase of   VERs type carbon credits , which support initiatives for the reduction of greenhouse gases). Furthermore, the bottle is made 50% from  RPET with the necessary food contact characteristics.
