PET Engineering: new corporate identity

First step of  change in the Venetian company specializing in the design and industrialization of PET packaging, the presentation of a logo that, during 2016, will gradually replace the one currently in use.

Thirty years an industry leader, thanks to the expertise of its founder - the pioneer Moreno Barel - PET Engineering has decided to revamp its image, with the aim of evoking the values for which the company and its exclusive knowhow are recognized the world over.
With offices in Italy, Russia, China, the design company, international leader in design and industrialization of PET packaging (the plastic material most used in bottling beverages and increasingly present in the food, detergents and cosmetics areas) can claim customers the calibre of PepsiCo, Nestle Waters, Carlsberg, Heineken, Coca Cola, Ferrarelle ...
PET Engineering was the first organization in the world to incorporate design with engineering and industrialization in developing innovative and feasible packaging as part of their basic proposal. This distinguishing factor, combined with a steady growth (+20% in sales compared to 2014) and the recently received international awards (Packaging Oscar in 2015 and 2016 and a World Star Award 2016) have stressed the need to make the set of virtues that make PET Engineering one of a kind more tangible.

«For the development of this important project we relied on Univisual, a consulting company in Milan, a leader in brand strategy and the design of identity systems, that would help us achieve a repositioning and to formulate a strategy that, on the one hand, would contribute to organizing the supply architecture and on the other, to translate our design vision into a brand, based on the centrality of people»adds Elisa Zanellato, Marketing Manager of PET Engineering.

A LOGO, A PHILOSOPHY A human head, crowned by an ideal neural network, is the scientific mind that can “chemically synthesize” the ingeniousness and creative approach of PET Engineering. But it  also wants to evoke the importance of the individual, with reference both to the internal team as well as the end user of each packaging designed and engineered by the company. Looking to the right, the profile symbolizes the gaze forward, projecting into the future, thus expressing a dynamic vision oriented to technological innovation.
Overall, the formal composition of the new logo has a strong emotional impact, communicating skills, specific creativity and orientation towards results.
