Hispack & BTA: one starts up again
Signs of economic recovery from the third annual joint Hispack & BTA (Fira de Barcelona, 21 to 24 April 2015), which closed with a pre-final of 38,000 visitors, an increase of 8% compared to expectations.
Satisfied the exhibitors who indicate the quality of the operators, at the fair with concrete investment projects, and the increase in international participation (112 countries represented). In addition to European countries (Portugal, France, Germany and the UK) this year an increase of representation of Morocco, Mexico, Tunisia and Colombia was seen.
As for the exhibition offer, both Hispack and Bta increased the number of exhibitors: adding the two fairs together they total 1,250 participating companies, an increase of 6% compared to 2012, which submitted solutions and products for the various stages of food production, packaging and wrapping, logistics and the arrival at point of sale. Adequately represented also the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic and perfumery sectors.
The Italians gave a positive judgment, mainly at the fair via their local reps: among the direct exhibitors, full satisfaction was expressed by the Aetna Group, present with its Spanish branch, by Rotas, Elettric 80, Datalogic… and PE Labelers, that signed sales contracts during the event.
Worthy of note the TrendPack area, showcase for startups like Rigam Engineering of Lomazzo (packaging solutions for the food industry). The next appointment with Hispack and Alimentaria FoodTech (the new Bta name) is expected for 2018.
