At Anuga, Cama’s BTG
A leading company in the packaging sector, Cama has won appreciation over the years for the quality, lean design and performance of its secondary packaging systems and robots. To be showcased at the forthcoming Anuga Food Tech (Cologne, 24 to 27 March2015, hall 7.1, stand B011-A010), the company’s Break-Through Generation (BTG) of new concept machines, successfully premiered at the last edition of Interpack.

Advancements. Over the last ten years Cama’s engineers have designed machines in accordance with the TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), with excellent results in terms both technical solutions as well as accessibility and hygienic design.
The Break-Through Generation machines transcend the concept of TPM, inching closer to the Six Sigma philosophy, the common goal of most advanced companies seeking efficiency as the key to their success. Operator safety remains at the forefront in the design of the new machines. Accessibility is also a key point, as is the custom in Cama, along with increased levels of sanitation.
At Cologne Cama will also be showing its new concept cartoning machine which goes by the name of CL 175 which, according to its designers, offers the highest standards in terms of flexibility. The system has been designed in response to those looking for a machine capable of working at different speeds with products of various sizes, at times including important variants such as carton size.
In the field of robotics, Cama will also be exhibiting a leading edge unit where 12 Delta robots work together, testing the efficiency of the co-flow loading and anti-collision system, now brought to maximum performance by Cama’s electronic and mechanical engineers.
