«We are traveling at full speed towards what will be the record edition of the 33 years of Macfrut». The President of the event, Renzo Piraccini, welcomes the cross market-response made by concerns «coming from all industry segments, from the packaging to pre-harvest services, from production of convenience produce, who have decided to bet on the fair». A few months from the opening, a 100 new exhibitors have already reserved exhibition space at the fresh produce fair organized by Cesena Fiera at the Rimini Fiera fair quarter. Incidentally, a full 95% of the spaces (a total of 40 thousand square meters) has been sold.

The strong technological footprint of Macfrut has been confirmed, featuring the presence of foreign exhibitors (22% of the total), namely leading players in the European and Mediterranean market from Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Albania, but also from India, Argentina, Colombia, Kenya, Peru.
More particularly, on the packaging front, the show will feature  the  technologies of Ifco Euro Pool System, Jcoplastic, Plastic Company, Schoeller-Allibert, CiessePapier, Cicrespi.
Among the institutional presences Italy’s cultivator’s association Coldiretti will be at the fair along Unaproa, the Italian fruit and vegetable growers association, that will be organizing a huge stand.
