Pharmintech powered by Ipack-Ima

Pharmintech 2025: the countdown for the event dedicated to the pharmaceuticals and life science market has begun

In the run-up to Pharmintech powered by Ipack-Ima, scheduled for 27 to 30 May 2025, publicity and dissemination activities continue through attendance of international industry events and the press conference arranged to provide an in-depth analysis of the event's contents.

Partnerships and international promotion for deeper understanding of the market

The Pharmintech team will maintain a strong presence at major international events in the Life Sciences industry, starting with the CPHI, scheduled for 8 to 10 October in Milan. The city of Milan will also be hosting the ISCC – International Symposium on Contamination Control, an international congress organised from 15 to 18 October by ASCCA, which is the Italian association for the study and control of environmental contamination and a Pharmintech partner. From 3 to 6 November, the Pharmintech team will be flying stateside for the Pack Expo Chicago, while the next stop in Europe is Paris, where we will be attending Pharmapack on 22 and 23 January 2025.

Among the confirmed partnerships, the support of the Italian pharmaceuticals industry association AFI stands out. They will once again be responsible for the technical and scientific coordination of the event conferences. In June, during the AFI Symposium in Rimini, an important meeting took place between the Pharmintech steering committee members and stakeholders from the life science community. This meeting was a key step in planning for the 2025 edition.

To confirm the solidity of the planned event, Pharmintech also enjoys support from the main sector associations, including the aforementioned AFI, as well as other key organizations, such as: ADF, ASCCA, Aschimfarma, Assobiotec, Certiquality, Egualia, Ispe Italy Affiliate, Pda Italy Chapter, and Ucima. The aim of partnerships, steering committees, and attendance at key industry events is to get to know the market, identify changes, and interpret trends. Through this approach, Pharmintech 2025 will become an essential link between innovation, business, and networking, encapsulating the most advanced technological solutions for the pharmaceuticals and life science industries.

A success foreseen in the figures

The pharmaceuticals packaging and processing industry is projected to achieve a turnover of €17.6 billion by 2027. This substantial figure will further drive and validate the incoming efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Pharmintech team. As confirmed by Ipack Ima CEO Simone Castelli at the last steering committee meeting, less than a year before the event, over 60% of the exhibition space is already booked. This promises potential visitors access to the best solutions offered by market leaders and also new brands, which comprise over 35% of the total exhibitors at the fair.

Focus on the event at the press conference

All the new features of the upcoming fair, including content proposals developed in collaboration with partners, will be unveiled on 8th October at the Ipack Ima headquarters in Fiera Milano, Rho. This presentation will take place in the presence of the international press and stakeholders, coinciding with the first day of the CPHI opening.
