Ecological and reusable “PP-RIU” cutlery

CDS Srl was founded in the 70s as a manufacturer of plastic items of various kinds, then specializing in the production of products intended for contact with food, or cutlery, plates, trays, glasses, plastic closures for PET bottles.

In compliance with the European Directive EU2019/904 (SUP) which, from July 3, 2021, sanctions the ban on the placing on the market of various disposable items,  CDS (Wisecap Group)  has developed an effective alternative solution: it has in fact designed and manufactured reusable cutlery that can be washed in the industrial washing machine up to 125 times. 

The shape, the materials and the clear indications make the consumer conceive the cutlery as reusable to all intents and purposes, in accordance with what is expressly indicated in the UAS Guidelines issued by the European Commission.

PP-RIU” cutlery has been certified as reusable after passing food, hygiene and performance conformity tests at the end of a 125-wash cycle in an industrial dishwasher. In addition to being handy, resistant and unbreakable, they can be used with hot food up to 90°.
