An important truck...
When the 400,000th truck made by Yale Europe Materials Handling came off the assembly line at its facility in Craigavon, Northern Ireland, the concern celebrated with an extraordinary charitable donation: on 19 January 2016, during an official ceremony, the Veracitor VX model was delivered to Oxfam, an international charity that has quickly responded to water crises around the world, supplying and preserving potable water for hygienic and sanitary services.
The donation was carefully planned, the Veracitor GDP/GLP20-30VX model being chosen as the most suitable solution to meet the needs of the Oxfam distribution center in Bicester.
Ergonomic, reliable and easy to handle, Veracitor VX employs technology that limits wear of breaks and tires, requiring very little maintenance. Efficiency is an integrated feature: the Yanmar 2.6L diesel engine consumes just 3 liters/hr, while the GPL motors offer unprecedented performance.
The donation also evidenced the spirit of cooperation among Yale and its partners: Ravas, a producer of mobile weighing solutions offered i-Forks (a system for automatically weighing loads that can be installed on any forklift). Yale’s UK dealer, Briggs Equipment, has offered to maintain and service the truck for the NGO.
