Interroll: 2015 positive on a global scale

The growth trend of the Interroll Group, a worldwide leading manufacturer of components in the intralogistics sector, was confirmed by the figures for 2015 in CHF (the reporting currency).

To cite the most relevant indicators, if orders reached 385.1 million (the highest value ever recorded in the history of the company, up 9.8% compared to 2014), net sales also rose to 360.7 million (+ 7.6% over the previous year).
Also positive financial the indices which recorded an EBITDA of 58.2 million (+ 32%) with a margin of 16.1% compared to 13.2% in 2014. The net profit jumped by 54%, from 19.1 million to 29.3 million.
Interroll has increased its market shares in all geographic areas in which it is active (EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific). In line with the policies of expansion to markets outside Europe, the Americas generated 27% of total sales and the Asia-Pacific 14%, compared with a 59% coming from the EMEA area (in 2014 the figure was 63 %).

Regarding this area, if in Italy and in Eastern Europe, growth was robust, the greatest growth was registered in the German speaking countries and Scandinavia.
A change at the top is also in the making. The Board of Directors has decided to propose Urs Tanner, a Director since 2008 and vice president since 2009, to be appointed as Chairman of the Board, replacing Kurt Rudolf who would decline a further term.
