Koehler Paper and Clarus Films enter into partnership
In a move that brings together paper expertise with know-how in the flexible packaging market, the Koehler Group company Koehler Paper has announced that it will be collaborating with Clarus Films in the field of functionally coated, unprinted barrier paper.
Clarus Films, which is headquartered in Dietzenbach in the vicinity of Frankfurt, has for years been systematically focusing on sustainable and recyclable packaging solutions, including mono-material, PCR and compostable films. Flexible paper solutions will play an increasingly important role in the future in the context of the circular economy.
Specifically, the agreement will cover Koehler NexPlus® coated paper products with a barrier function (protecting against odours, grease, mineral oil, water vapour and gases), as well as high-strength properties and a natural feel.
Koehler Paper and Clarus will make their first joint trade show appearance at Fachpack, to be held from 28 to 30 September 2021 in Nuremberg (booth 119, hall 4).
