Metal: end users choose the Recycling Mark

Already today available in 15 languages, the Recycling Mark was created to communicate to consumers their active role in the infinite recycling of metal

Despite the fact the recycling rate is at 73%, a study made in 2014 commissioned by Empac - European Metal Packaging Association, shows that a certain confusion persists in terms of what occurs after the collection of the material.
Today the association that combines the European manufacturers of rigid metal packaging and the supply chain partners, announces that the Recycling Mark has already been adopted by some big brands, with the intent of sending a clear message to their own end users as to the choice of a material perfectly integrated in a circular economy.
Among the others, we cite Conserve Italia (leader in Europe in the fruit and vegetable preserve sector), Di Vita (specialised in pickles and grilled vegetables), Pucci (producer of a wide range of canned food products) and  Rodolfi Mansueto (one of the oldest Italian concerns in the tomato and tomato derivate sector): they have developed a method of application on the packaging in cooperation with the Ardagh Group.
