Training for packaging and ceramics
After a first year of activity, having delivered 60 inter-company courses, attended by approximately 1,200 professionals, the Scuola per i Beni Strumentali (SBS) of Ucima and Acimac resumes its training activities.
The calendar for 2015 includes 20 courses in the technical area, held by carefully chosen instructors and focussing on topics of interest to ceramic as well as packaging machine manufacturers: safety of material/product conveying systems; electrical standards; mandatory content of declarations of conformity; functional safety; software validation; machine compliance and certification; safety requirements for fluid and pneumatic power systems, robots and robotic systems; technical documentation and user manual provided by the Machinery Directive; EC conformity; electrical equipment.
The courses are held in Modena as well as Milan, to facilitate the participation of the members of Ucima (Italian Automatic Packaging & Wrapping Machine Builders’ Association) and Acimac (Italian Ceramic Machinery & Equipment Builders’ Association), but also the companies that are part of Assocomaplast (Italian Plastics and Rubber Processing Machinery & Moulds Manufacturers’ Association) and Acimall (Italian Woodworking Machinery & Accessory Builders’ Association), that are also members of the SBS system.
Under agreement with the Order of Engineers of Modena technical courses for the professional updating of engineers will also be held. Ucima and Acimac are also entitled to issue credits for safety officer updating; Hence by 2015 all courses under the "Machine Safety" area are valid for occupational H&S officer (OHSO) and worker H&S representative (WHSR) health&safety updating.
