ADF & PCD Paris 2019

Respecting the expectations of the organizers of Comexposium, from The Parisian kermesse has set new records of participation, confirming an appointment that is unmissable in terms of keeping up with the latest trends in creative packaging for beauty and aerosol dispensing systems.

With an exhibition offer ranging from packaging to accessories, from finishes to closures - declined in a range of proposals in glass, cellulose, plastic, etc ... - to get to the aerosol dispensing systems, ADF & PCD Paris once again stakes its claim as one of the most qualified and representative European market showcases. Spotlight on the state-of-the-art packaging solutions for various types of consumer goods: perfumes and cosmetics, but also pharmaceutical, food, wine & spirits and automotive.
The operators continue to show interest in the two-day Paris show, appreciating its synergistic and transversal character though at the same time, highly focused on a specific segment of the packaging market: the one with a high creative content, where design, innovation, beauty and sustainability play a key role. An “agile” and targeted format, which brings together large and small companies, in carefully laid out, pleasantly informal and “human scale” spaces, where you can meet the customer target best suited to your offer in the easiest, most stimulating and effective way for the business.

How did things go this year?
The 2019 edition - 15th for PCD and 13th for ADF - took place at the end of January (30-31) at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles where, in the face of growing demand, the fair was transferred to the second floor of the Hall 7.2, occupying an area of approximately 19,600 m2 with 615 exhibitors (73% for PCD, 17% for ADF, 10% for ADF + PCD) and over 8,000 professional visitors. Another indicator of success is the international high level of the event, with over 31% of visitors coming from abroad (80 countries), as well as 58% of exhibitors.
More than positive, therefore, the feedback for the organizers of Easyfairs Oriex, satisfied with the interest in the event, demonstrated by the numerous new entries and the loyalty of those who renew their belief with conviction at the appointment. According to Christelle Anya, director of ADF & PCD Paris and ICON, the results of this year are extremely encouraging, not only from the commercial point of view, but also regarding the quality of participation and the positive and stimulating atmosphere based on listening and a profitable dialogue.
During the event, the organizers also announced the launch of a new show, which intends to connect the global community of designers, developers and suppliers of premium beverage packaging, supporting the transfer of knowledge and drawing inspiration from the world of perfumery and cosmetics. This is PLD - Packaging of Premium and Luxury Drinks, whose first edition is scheduled to coincide with the upcoming ADF&PCD Paris, on 29 and 30 January 2020.
