Competivity and innovation

April 2nd the Milan chamber of commerce hosted the conference “Technological innovation of Italian industry towards a European vision of the coming future”.

Organized by AIRI (Italian Industrial Research Association) and Innovhub-Stazioni Sperimentali for industry (Special Company of the Milan Chamber of Commerce), the event updated on the state of technological innovation of the Italian industry and its possible evolutions in the light of the new aims contained in Horizon 2010, with particular regard to industrial leadership. The centrality of industrial competitivity was highlighted in a series of talks and case studies of specific interest both for big industry and SMEs. European patenting, regulations, access to credit and the governance of innovation were among the subjects broached.
