Success of the fruit Tech Stage

The Berlin fresh produce sector fair Fruit Logistica has put in further growth, closing the 4-6 February 2015 edition with 65 thousand visitors from 135 countries, as many as 84% foreign, and 2,785 exhibitors from 83 nations.

These are highly respectable figures, confirming the Berlin show’s leading international role. This year, to highlight the importance of technology providers, the Tech Stage area was featured, reserved for machines and packaging and warmly welcomed by the visitors.
Looking at the ratings in terms of area of origin: 75.6% of visitors were from Europe, followed by the Americas (9.8%), Africa (6.5%), Middle East (3.8%), Asia (3.2%) and Oceania (1.1%). The public particularly expressed interest for fresh produce, packaging and packaging machinery.
