Hall 13 - B75 | XTS transport system with No Cable Technology (NCT)

Offered by Beckhoff Automation, the XTS modular system has been extended with NCT to include a special motor module and electronics that can be assembled on the movers. The hardware necessary for the transmission technology is completely integrated in the motor module, so as to maintain the existing functionalities and the compact configuration. Further connections and power lines are not necessary. Control of the mover hardware is fully implemented in TwinCAT. All the TwinCAT functionalities are available for easy implementation of the project.

This all opens up new solution possibilities for the user, particularly with regards to product handling, processing and measurement in parallel with product transport, as well as the adaptation of production machines to rapidly changing production lots.
