Digital printing at Labelexpo

Durst anticipates the technological developments related to digital printing systems for Tau RSC labels, awaiting the Labelexpo Europe fair (Brussels, 23 - 27 September 2019) where - together with Lirmaprint* - it will show live innovations of an updated and state-of-the-art portfolio.

Introduced two years ago, Tau 330 RSC and Tau 330 RSC E represent a new benchmark in the label industry, with over 50 installations worldwide, for a total of over 300 TAUs already operational.
Visitors will have the opportunity to closely observe the technology and the different potential applications: new features, such as a special high-speed opacity and high-speed white printing mode, help improve performance and range of applications.
The upgrade of the Tau RSC platform is also at an advanced stage, which will allow the foundation of the future of industrial digital inkjet printing.
At stand C50 in Hall 9, the focus will also be on the software portfolio offered by Durst Professional Services: the new features of Durst Workflow combined with the Durst SmartShop and the available integration packages help to meet industry standards.

Performance of the new series TAU 330 RSC - Resolution, Speed, Colors
1200 x 1200 dpi resolution; speeds up to 78 m / min; CMYK + OVG colors.
High print quality is one of the pluses of this series, which uses Samba printheads, capable of ensuring maximum productivity.
TAU RSC is ideal for printing labels in all sectors - food, beverage, wine, chemicals, pharmaceuticals ... - but also for printing on multilayer laminated tubes, blisters, folding cartons, and can reproduce variable data, in all colors and at maximum speed.
