InvisiPac HM25c: more compact, faster and safer
Graco has recently developed the latest version of a melting system for tank-free dispensation of hot glue.
In addition to its compactness, which facilitates integration with box packaging lines, InvisiPac HM25c stands out for a new feed system, a hopper able to unclump the glue granules, the capacity for reducing air consumption by 30%, self-learning pulse width modulation software and a LineSite remote monitoring system, which can be accessed from a laptop computer, tablet or smartphone.
InvisiPac HM25c uses an integrated vacuum system for feeding glue into the melter (an ultrasound sensor monitors the amount of glue in the chamber, automatically adding glue according to operational requirements). The heat transfer system is also highly efficient, guaranteeing a steady flow, to the benefit of overall plant efficiency and productivity.
The system reaches operational temperature in under 10 minutes, reducing energy consumption. Moreover, thanks to the tank-free, melt-on-demand design, the glue needs less time to reach higher temperatures, guaranteeing a significant reduction in the amount of glue residue and associated negative effects (deterioration of materials, blocked tubes and nozzle, encrusted tanks, etc.), thereby facilitating maintenance of the lines.
All these features translate into higher profits for the users, who can also rely on the highest safety standard, since operators need never come into contact with the heating system or melted glue.
