JET3Up with silver ink for marking in the cosmetics industry

The marking requirements of the cosmetics industry have always been among the most complex and particular. The ink-jet markers used in this field must guarantee, at the same time, production capacity, reliability and superior quality printing, for the best aesthetic result as well as perfect readability.

In many cases, in fact, the packaging of cosmetic products has elaborate graphics with sophisticated colors, which require the use of special inks for marking, able to stand out with the right contrast on all the backgrounds.

In response to these needs, SIS.MA Srl, in partnership with Leibinger, proposes the Ink-jet marker JET3Up, equipped with a grey pigmented ink called “Silver”, which allows to obtain excellent results both on light-colored or white packages and on black packages.

Savings on equipment and maintenance. Leibinger’s JET3Up is therefore a multi-purpose solution that saves on tooling costs.

It is no longer necessary to use two different markers on the production line, loaded with two different inks to be activated alternately depending on the background of the pack.

Furthermore, despite the use of pigmented inks, maintenance requirements are reduced to a minimum for a deflected droplet machine, thanks to both the exclusive “SEALTRONIC” system that seals the nozzle during stand-by and machine shutdown, and the Leibinger patented hydraulics.

The production capacity remains among the highest in the ink-jet marking sector: in fact, JET3Up reaches 600m/minute and can mark up to 5 lines.
