Legi-Air 4050B

Weber Marking Systems proudly presents an electric print & apply for a more sustainable packaging and production line.

Packaging Made in Italy has become a benchmark all over the world, thanks to its high quality and attention to detail, with products that have always stood out for the care taken in their design and manufacture. In addition to their aesthetic value, these are products that represent an important source of innovation and, today, they are the interpreters of sustainability.

Indeed, many Italian companies are committed to researching and developing innovative packaging solutions, resorting to ecological materials with a low environmental impact. This commitment to sustainability is not only evident in the packaging phase, but also in the phase immediately following product identification and tracking, where processes that focus strongly on environmental protection are adopted.

Electric is green

In this context, the print & apply systems developed by Weber Marking Systems make the difference, offering state-of-the-art, customised solutions for product labelling. In fact, the Weber team has developed the electric Print & Apply Legi-Air 4050B range, driven by electric motors that enable high-precision movements and reduce compressed air costs by up to 80%.

Its modular and compact design makes it the optimal solution for industrial environments and easily integrated on packaging and production lines. In addition, its modular construction allows applicators to be interchanged within seconds, thus ensuring maximum versatility and flexibility. The Legi-Air 4050B requires no daily maintenance, ensuring easy, fast and clean automatic labelling.

The 3 applicators of the 4050B family

  • Legi-Air 4050B Electric Linear: ideal solution for labelling products with variable heights moving on a conveyor belt. The applicator's electric movements enable faster, more precise applications and unparalleled flexibility in handling the variable height labelling process. Being electric, it also reduces running costs.
  • Electric Legi-Air 4050B Swing Arm: the programmable swing arm is powered by an electric motor that can move the plate to any desired angle between 0° and 90°. The system can also apply two labels on two adjacent sides of the same product in real time. It is typically used for applications on the front/rear sides of the product.
  • Electric Legi-Air 4050B Belt: the fully electric wipe-on applicator allows top/side labels to be applied to moving products. The label is applied to the product with precision at a fast pace thanks to a set of belts. Excellent for high-volume production.

Weber's offering is further enhanced by the electric AP182 range for tertiary packaging and the Legi-Air 6000 with ultra-lightweight carbon applicator, ideal for high-speed lines.
