Position indicator with magnetic sensor

The Elesa (Monza, MB) MPI-15 position indicator forms a complete system for the measurement of linear and angular displacements and is composed of a digital readout with integrated magnetic position sensor, coupled to the M-BAND-10 magnetic band.

Extremely easy to assemble, it enables the accurate establishment of positions, reducing processing times and procedures to a minimum.
Its most outstanding feature is the absence of contact between the sensor and the magnetic stripe, which prevents wear of the parts and consequently the need for maintenance.
This same feature makes the indicator insensitive to vibration in addition to moisture, dust, oils and processing residues.
MPI-15 enables display of the readings in absolute or incremental mode (to measure within the measuring field); the selection of the unit of measurement (mm, inches or degrees) and the counting direction, and the setting of the offset rates to compensate for tool wear.
The magnetic stripe is easy to install and is protected against possible mechanical damage by a stainless steel belt.
